You have made me

Wayne Slater-Lunsford

You have made me_   and you know me-

All I dream and all I am and all I do

You sustain me_         you defend me;

Every moment that I live I live in You.

Though the road_       is long and narrow

And it’s uphill much more often than it’s down,

When I’m weary_        and when I wander

You remind me of the shelter where I’m bound.

 REFRAIN:

I don’t know what tomorrow may bring.

It just might be this body has to die.

As long as you’re my daddy, Lord, I know this one thing:

Holding on to you, I’ll be all right.

You have set me_       on the high road

That will lead me to our holy home above.

My companions_        on the journey

Are the brothers and the sisters that I love.

All you ask is_            all I am, Lord.

All I am is just a little piece of clay.

Yet you mold me_      to your likeness,

And your love and mercy take my breath away. (REFRAIN)

Tell me how, Lord_     how can I thank you-

For I know that you have never been in need.

I will praise you_         and obey you

And I’ll gather in a flock for you to feed.

I will call them_           though few may answer

I will offer them the grace you give to me.

And in joy_                 we’ll walk to glory

By the light that only faithful eyes can see!

Yes, in joy_                 we’ll walk to glory_

By the light that only faithful eyes can see!
