Most of these writings are mine, and therefore grow out
of who I am. That is NOT to say, however, that who I am is exactly who it
was when they were created. Who/what I am is both more and different than
what it was even a few weeks ago, and the man that wrote the ItchyScratchy set
would be hard to recognize in me now, over a dozen years later. Still, I
must claim all these older me's and their expressions, and I include them here
in the interest of honesty and openness. Those guys are still in there,
and just as none of the writers that I have been is the totality, what I write
today or tomorrow cannot exclude the things that lie behind. Moreover,
these came through my mind, but now they have come to yours. Once recorded
and shared, they are no longer completely my own. YOUR essence will now
interpret and extrapolate what I have done, and I hope that you will find some
thoughts worth keeping. Thank you for giving new life to these,
my children.
